This series of blog posts will discuss learning styles and learning theories with interviews from different people including students in university and a high school teacher with the inclusion of technology’s role in education.
The first blog named, Students: know how you learn, then use and abuse it! looks at learning styles, learning theory and the time and effort involved in teaching in multiple ways. The second blog called: Two Sides to Every Coin starts with my, the writer, experience with learning, followed with interviews from university students about the preparation they received for further education both in normal times and through COVID-19 times. A view from a teachers’ perspective shows a look from their side and the signs constantly being watched that students need more help. The third blog post named: Technology and Brains takes a look at technologies’ part in education and a bit of science behind how information is retained in the brain.
Throughout all blogs there will be chances for you, the reader, to explore specific parts with links to videos and articles to deepen your understanding. Some articles will be simple reading and others will be very factual and in depth.
