Second Year Summer
My second year at Edinburgh Instruments was spent during covid which meant I only had 1 day a week in the office.
The major project of the summer was this trolley for holding a gas canister weighing around 45kg when full.
Octagon base allowed for extra stability and 8 castor wheels so the weight was distributed evenly between them all.
1&2: Arm has radii to help keep canister straight.
3&4: Plate to support canister is raised and lowered using a large bolt and nut on each side.
